the artist and free spirit behind Tuesdy Tuesday. Yes! It’s really my name in case you are wondering, and its pronounced like twos-dee. I am a mother, artist and teacher living in the rolling hills of Tennessee. I create surface patterns, illustrations, and traditional art for fabric, clothing, products, and art prints. My heart’s desire is to share art that is fun, appealing, playful, confident, and full of life utilizing my bold and bright color pallets. I am habitually creating art and filling up sketchbooks with wonky but fun motifs and design ideas. As an artist these sentiments are gathered from things found in my nature walks. I love collecting four leaf clovers, rocks, markers, sketchbooks, and pencils. Any random day you will find me laughing hysterically at something or myself. Life is too much fun to make a choice between markers or acrylic paint. I love them equally, because of their rich, bold hues and tones. As you brouse my work, I hope you will stay for a while, and leave with a smile.
My Art work embodies a cohesive vibe of collective colors that are bright bold vibrant and playful. I like to incorporate hues and motifs that are expressive, and confident. Sometimes my work can give off a sense of nostalgia, but I am truly a maximalist with a strong abstract voice.
